An ideal time to establish a daily routine of prayer, such as: praying the Rosary, reading the Bible, attending daily Mass, “Stations of the Cross”, “The Peace Path of Hope- Reflection Booklet, Adoration, join OLPH Hallow, Best Lent Ever, Divine Mercy Book Study with Fr. Frank & Fr. Jose, is encouraged.
Anyone over 18 and under 59 years of age is asked to fast. On days of Fasting, one full meal is allowed. Two small meals, sufficient to maintain strength, may be taken. Eating between meals is not permitted. We are also called to abstain from meat on Fridays (abstinence).

First Sunday of Lent at the end of all Masses, parishioners are invited to make a “promesa/promise”, during Lent for our Spiritual Preparation of Easter & in return receive a journal and a pen to write down, draw, create your experience with the Spiritual Exercises you have chosen.
